Our wonderful and professionally guided vacation in Italy takes you throughout the beautiful Tuscany area for your own ‘under the Tuscan sun’ experience and we have included a day along the famous and quaint small villages and cliffs of the Cinque Terre. We have included so much you’ll feel you have really seen and explored this wonderful area of Italy!

We start with a visit to the cradle of the Renaissance, Florence, seeing Michelangelo’s David (awesome!) in the Accademia; the Baptistry’s heavy bronze “Gate of Paradise”; and the sculpture-studded Signoria Square. Also time to explore and shop in this very famous town too. Then enjoy a walking tour of the Piazza del Miracoli in Pisa-see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa; visit the Duomo & Baptistery. Next we walk the narrow streets of the original Roman grid in the ancient medieval town of Lucca. We also spend a day in the Liguris area of Italy- taking a train to the famous Cinque Terra, a quaint and beautiful area to discover the small villages suspended between sea and earth and nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea. A lot of tours don’t have this excursion included. Also we visit Siena to see the Duomo and Piazza del Campo, and visit medieval San Gimignano to see this quaint little Tuscan town!

Also wine tasting, a welcome dinner, and leisure time in the famous spa town of Montecatini before we say good-bye with a rustic Paesana dinner at a Tuscan farm in the countryside. Come join us!

Florence - Walk to the Duomo & Baptistry, see Ghiberti’s “Gates of Paradise”; Michelangelo’s ‘David’ at the Accademia; the open air museum of Signoria Square and see the Ponte Vecchio, the ‘Old Bridge’.
Pisa - local guide for a walking tour, view the Piazza del Miracoli, leaning Tower of Pisa, visit the Baptistery and Duomo.
Lucca - walk the narrow streets of the original Roman grid to San Michele and its beautiful piazza and the ancient Roman Forum.
Cinque Terra - train from La Spezia to Cinque Terra-see the small villages of the area.
Siena - Tuscan town known for the Palio Horse race, its’Duomo, Piazza del Campo.
San Gimignano - explore this medieval town known for its narrow lanes and squares.

Airfare and transfers are additional. You fly into and out of Florence (airport code FLR), Italy. We can assist you with airline flights (some on same flights as others) or you may book your own online for some good rates. Fares are based on availability at time of booking. We need your air schedule asap. See transfer info below also.
For arrival- you fly from the U.S. on May 22, arriving in Florence May 23. (Before noon if possible)
For departure- make your flights out of Florence on May 30. If your flight leaves early remember you are about 20 miles from Florence and you’ll need to allow plenty of time to get to the airport. If your flight is early, your trip to the airport will be earlier!

Transfers are additional and are approximately $40 each way if you are arriving before noon on May 23 and leaving before noon on May 30. We will try to coordinate people within the group for group transfers and will try to get the price down if we can get enough for each transfer grouping. Therefore we need your flight schedules asap. If transferring at other then the times noted above, you may have to transfer on your own to and from our hotels (but others may be traveling with you too).

Travel Insurance Insurance is highly recommended for many reasons. A insurance packet will be mailed to you with your deposit invoice receipt. Please read it carefully and call the insurance company directly to sign up.

A valid U.S. passport is required for entry into Italy for U.S. citizens and it should be valid up to 6 months past the trip date. For non-U.S. citizens, consult your local consulate for passport and visa requirements.
Price Does Not Include airfare and taxes, travel insurance, tips to drivers and guides, bottled beverages or alcoholic drinks with included meals; items of a personal nature such as phone calls, laundry, incidental charges at the hotels, and airport transfers.
This trip is for the active single who likes to ‘get out and about’ as this trip involves a lot of walking and has some walking on uneven or rough cobblestones. Your payment for a reservation on this trip constitutes consent and acknowledgement of all the provisions in this Fine Print listed below and in the Singles Travel Company General Terms & Conditions. Please make sure you read both of these important pieces of information and call us with any questions.
A trip reservation form, found on our website, is due when you make your trip deposit. Hotels are always subject to change per our tour operator.
Deposit: of $200.00 is due with your reservation by credit card or check. Taking deposits now.
Final payment is due 65 days prior to trip, credit card or checks preferred (payable to Travel Advisors).
Cancellation Fees and Refunds: All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations 100 days or more prior to the trip will receive a full refund of your deposit, less a $50 cancellation fee applied to your credit card. Any cancellations 99 days and less of departure date, no refund will be provided. No refund on unused portions of the trip. After airline tickets are issued, airline cancellations are per the airline’s policy.
Travel/Trip Cancellation insurance is highly recommended-please consider the purchase of it carefully as it covers a lot of important and unforeseeable issues that may arise before and during your trip-i.e. illness with you or a family member prior to or during your trip, lost luggage, medical problems that may arise during your trip, also, if needed, it includes important assistance while you are overseas.
