created a delightful itinerary to the magnificent country of Italy!

Day
1, Friday, July 30
Depart USA to Rome
Board your overnight transatlantic flight to Rome
if traveling from North America..
Day 2, Saturday, July 31
Rome
Arrival in Rome, Italy today and depending on
your arrival time and after getting settled at the hotel, you can rest or start
exploring this city known as the ‘Eternal City’.
At 6 p.m. you’ll meet our local tour director and
your traveling companions and head to a local restaurant for our special welcome
dinner with wine in one of Rome's lively restaurants. It’s a great way to begin
our tour by sharing a cozy dinner with new friends. (D)
Day 3, Sunday, August 1
Rome
After breakfast start our sightseeing with our
local guide of ancient Rome with a visit to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum,
where Roman Legions marched in triumph.
Then time for independent activities; relax or
enjoy a visit to the magnificent marbled Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, or the
well-preserved Roman Pantheon, or relax and people-watch at the Spanish Steps
where you can watch the local scene pass by right in front of you.
This evening is at our leisure and our group escort will be available to
assist with plans to dine and find some fun entertainment. (B)
Day 4, Monday, August 2
Rome-Florence
This morning we visit the Vatican
Museums and Sistine Chapel, world famous for Michelangelo's ceiling paintings
and The Last Judgment and enjoy monumental St. Peter’s Square and Basilica.
Later we depart for Florence, driving along the
Highway of the Sun north into Tuscany and its hill-clad vineyards which house
the famous Chianti wine. After
checking in to our hotel- our group escort is on hand to assist with plans. The
remainder of our day is at leisure-enjoy!

Day 5, Tuesday, August
3
Florence
Our entire day is dedicated to
Florence, “Cradle of the Renaissance.” We’ll follow our local guide to the
Academy of Fine Arts with Michelangelo’s celebrated David and the magnificent
Cathedral. Admire Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s heavy bronze “Gate of
Paradise,” and sculpture-studded Signoria Square.
The afternoon is ours for independent sightseeing
and browsing through the shops. Maybe join the group for an optional afternoon
bicycle ride through the countryside or shop the local flea markets or many gold
and leather shops. Dinner is at leisure for your last night in Florence. (B)
Day 6, Wednesday, August 4
Florence-Venice
We’ll take a scenic drive through
the Apennine Mountains and the lush
plains of the River Po, the largest river in Italy, to Venice, entering the city
by ferry to our hotel. This afternoon will enjoy a leisurely walking tour with a
local guide of St. Mark’s Square, Basilica, Doges Palace and the Bridge of
Sighs. We’ll also watch skilled Glassblowers fashion their delicate objects in
an age old traditional manner.
Tonight enjoy dinner at leisure with friends from
the group and an evening of fun. (B)
Day 7, Thursday, August 5 Venice
We have a full day to enjoy Venice at our own
pace. Simply relax at our hotel, stroll along the narrow streets, or visit the
bell tower, take a gondola ride, sip a bellini in St. Marks Square or toast at
Harry’s bar.
Tonight join your traveling companions for a
Venetian night out with our farewell dinner in this wonderful city. Later
there's time to explore and absorb the romantic and unique atmosphere of Venice
by night. The perfect way to say “Arrivaderci Italia” (Goodbye Italy)!

Day 8, Friday, August 6
Venice
Breakfast
is served at our hotel and then it is time to say good-by to all our new found
friends and depart from Venice. Our escort will assist with our departure from
Venice. Our homebound flight arrives the
same day. Buon Viaggio! (B)

You fly out of the U.S./Canada Friday,
July 30 into Rome (FCO), Italy arriving July 31. Fly out of Venice (VCE), Italy,
August 6, arriving the same day back home. You may purchase your own flights,
use frequent flyer mileage, or call our office for assistance and we will try
and coordinate flights.
Airport transfers
–are not included but we will assist with connecting you to others arriving approximately the
same time and getting a shuttle or taxi to our hotel. For departure transfers-
the host can help coordinate the group to get to the airport together and thus
should save you money.
Pre and post nights- Shares-we’ll try and
find a roommate for you, but not guaranteed.

night--$129 share, $169 own room. 2
nights--$249 share, $329 own room.
Post night-Venice: 1
night--$149 share, $189 own room. 2 nights--$289 share, $378 own room.
Travel Insurance is highly recommended. A brochure will be sent to you for
coverage. Please read it carefully and call the insurance company directly with
any questions or to sign up.
Price does not include- items of a personal nature, meals not included in
above itinerary, incidentals such as laundry, phone calls, airfare and
transfers, travel insurance, gratuities to staff ($10-$15 per day) and local
guides.
Passport- A current U.S. passport
is required for travel into Italy.
Non-U.S. citizens please consult with your local consulate for any needed
passports or visas for entry into Italy.
This
trip is for- the active single who
likes to ‘get out and about’ and involves a lot of walking.

Your payment for a reservation on this trip
constitutes consent & acknowledgement of all the provisions in this Fine Print
listed below & in the Singles Travel Company General Terms & Conditions. Please
read both of these important pieces of information & call with any questions.
Note: The itinerary, hotels,
& inclusive features are subject to change at the discretion of our local tour
operators without compensation. We are not responsible for the consequences of
any changes.
Payments Taking deposits now of $500.00. Checks are preferred (payable to Travel Advisors) or credit cards.
Final payments
are due May 2. Checks preferred or credit cards.
Cancellation Fee and Refunds
All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation penalties as
follows:
--After deposit and at anytime of cancellation, a
minimum charge of $100.00 plus credit card charges will apply.
--Between May 2 and May 27, 2010- $350 penalty
applies.
--Between May 28 and July 9, 2010- 50% penalty
applies.
--After July 9, 2010- 100% penalty applies.
No refund on unused portions of the trip. After airline tickets are
issued, airline cancellations are per the airline’s policy which is usually no
refund, changeable with a fee. Note on
this trip, that if you elect to take a roommate and he/she cancels after our cut
off date, we will do everything to find a new match. However, if no match is
found, the difference in cost for a single room is the responsibility of the
guest who cancels. No refund will be given to the guest who cancels, regardless
of our tour company’s policy as stated above. We are not responsible for costs
related to cancellations after our cut off date.
