                We start in the Costa del Sol-Torremolinos, and for those that can, join us for the pre-night here which includes Granada and the famous Alhambra.  Enjoy this wonderful Mediterranean area of Spain before we start our Moroccan adventure with lots of sightseeing, exploring of fascinating markets with snake charmers, musicians and dancers, and spices from around the world!  See some of the greatest and most impressive mosques and mausoleums that are seen anywhere and learn the history and culture of this country with your professional and knowledgeable guide.
                
Lots of sightseeing included, 15 meals (17 with the optional pre-night), time to enjoy shopping, exploring, exotic Moroccan meals and drinks and, of course, the night life- all with other singles!

    • Rabat: (capital), the Kings home; see the exterior of the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, & one of the most impressive Mausoleums in the world- Mausoleum of Mohamed V

Fly transatlantic overnight to Malaga and the Costa del Sol, Spain!

Sun. Nov. 21                         Arrive in Malaga and the Costa del Sol, Spain
                 Welcome to Malaga and the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain!   Transfer to our hotel in Torremolinos and depending on your arrival time start exploring this town on the Mediterranean Sea.  Meet your social host and other single travelers later today to enjoy a welcome get-together. Tonight maybe take a local taxi with the group to the quaint small town of Mijas on the hillside above the city where the views are beautiful of the coastline. Maybe enjoy dinner here? 

Mon. Nov. 22                       Granada and The Alhambra
                 This morning we head to Granada to explore the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of the amazing Moorish palace and fortress complex of the Alhambra and the verdant Gardens of the Generalife. It is one of the most widely known of all Islamic works of art with its beautiful Moorish architecture.  Learn the history of one of the most visited attractions in the world.  Lunch is included and then we take a panoramic tour of this pretty city, stopping at Mirador de San Nicolas for photos.
                 This evening meet the other singles who have flown in today for a welcome get together with sangria.  Then maybe dinner together or on your own with new friends and enjoy the local nightlife! (B,L)

Mon. Nov. 22                      Arrive in Malaga and the Costa del Sol, Spain
                 Welcome to Malaga and the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain!   Transfer to our hotel in Torremolinos and depending on your arrival time start exploring this town on the Mediterranean Sea.  Meet your social host and other single travelers later today to enjoy a welcome get-together and some sangria!

Tues. Nov. 23                       Torremolinos- Costa del Sol to Fez, Morocco
              
This morning we have an early departure along the Costa del Sol to Algeciras for the ferry to cross the Straits of Gibraltar to Ceuta in North Africa. After immigration onto exotic Fez, the 4th largest city in Morocco. Dinner is tonight is together and then why not check out the local night life! (CB,D) 

Wed. Nov. 24                       Fez
              
Enjoy your breakfast, then begins our sightseeing tour of Fez (1st Imperial city of Morocco from the 9th century).including the Jewish and Christian quarters, exterior of the Royal Palace and the Seven Doors, “The Medina”, the university, Nejarine fountain, and the tanners quarter. In the afternoon there is free time for shopping or additional sightseeing. Dinner together and then maybe enjoy some local entertainment…your guide can assist you with ideas for the group. (CB,D)

 Thurs. Nov. 25                    Fez-Marrakech

Today we depart after breakfast for Meknes for a panoramic tour including the famous Bab Al Mansour Gate. Continuing on to Beni-Mellah and a lunch stop (on your own), and then on to Marrakech, the 3rd largest city in Morocco, which is a city like many in the middle east-it has both an old fortified city (the medina) and a modern city (called Gueliz). It has the largest traditional market (souk) in Morocco and also has one of the busiest squares in Africa and the world-Djamaa El Fna.Dinner together tonight. (CB,D)

Fri.  Nov. 26                         Marrakech
                Today after breakfast we enjoy a panoramic and cultural sightseeing tour of this city (also called  the red city, due to the color of the buildings).  Our visit will include Saadiens Tombs (16th century), Bahia Palace (19th century), and the Koutoubia Mosque, whose tower is twin to the Girald in Seville. We also will visit and have time to shop and walk through the famous Djamaa El Fna Square, where we can easily find snake charmers, storytellers, street musicians, folk dancers, and more in this vibrant square.                  Tonight we’ll be offered an optional Fantasy Dinner/show at Chez Ali in the desert. If you take this show, the hotel will provide lunch to you. (CB,D) 

 Sat. Nov. 27                 Marrakech-Casablanca-Rabat              
                We depart for Casablanca this morning, the financial capital of the country. On arrival we’ll have a panoramic city tour to get you acquainted, and lunch is at your leisure. See the exterior of the great Mosque Hassan II, one of the most fascinating buildings in the world and only Mecca has a mosque of greater size and importance.
In the afternoon we head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, located on the Atlantic Ocean.  (CB,D)

 Sun. Nov. 28                    Rabat-Larache-Tangier
                Today we see Rabat, Morocco’s capital city and home of the King, including seeing the exterior of the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V (the reigning Monarch’s late grandfather) and one of the most impressive mausoleums in the world.
                After our included sightseeing we depart for Tangier, stopping for lunch on our own in Larache, before continuing on.  On arrival into Tangier, we have a brief panoramic tour of the city.
Enjoy dinner together tonight and toast your last night in exotic Morocco! (CB,D)

 Mon. Nov. 29                Tangier-Ceuta-Algeciras-Costa Del Sol
                After breakfast, board the ferry at Ceuta to Algeciras, returning us to Costa del Sol. Rest of the day is at leisure in Torremolinos to do any last minute sightseeing or shopping before our farewell dinner at a local restaurant together to celebrate with your new friends and your great vacation. Yes, it is time to go home.  We will coordinate your transfers to the airport if you’d like to save on your transfers where applicable.  Your flight from Malaga has you arriving home the same day. (B)

 Airfare is additional and you need to fly into and out of Malaga (airport code AGP), Spain.   We can help coordinate flights together for you or you can use your ff miles or check online for some great airfares.

 Airport transfers are not included but Malaga airport is only a very short distance from Torremolinos, about 15 miles.  We will try and coordinate flights and transfer times together on both the arrival and departure transfers. Taking the train is the least expensive but taxis aren’t too expensive either. For those on the same flights, as well as on the pre-night, we will have you get in touch with each other prior to the trip.  

 Travel Insurance is highly recommended. A brochure will be sent to you for coverage.  

 Price does not include- items of a personal nature, meals not included in above itinerary, phone calls, tips and gratuities to driver and guides.

Immunizations- not needed for Spain but check with your medical doctor or travel medicine clinic for any recommended immunizations for travel to Morocco and to make sure your immunizations are up-to-date.

 Passport - a current U.S. passport is required for travel. Non-U.S. citizens please consult with your local consulate for any needed passports or visas for entry into Spain and Morocco. 

This trip is for the active single that likes to ‘get out and about’ and involves a lot of walking.

Your payment for a reservation on this trip constitutes consent and acknowledgement of all the provisions in this Fine Print listed below and in the Singles Travel Company General Terms and Conditions. Please make sure you read both of these important pieces of information and call us with any questions.  Hotels are subject to change per our tour operator. This is a holiday trip-deposits due earlier.

Payments Deposits are $500.00.  Checks preferred (payable to Travel Advisors) or credit cards.

Final payments are due 90 days prior to trip. Checks preferred or credit cards.

Cancellation Fee and Refunds     All cancellations must be in writing. Any cancellations prior to 91 days before the trip will receive full refund of their paid deposit minus a $50 cancellation fee for Singles Travel Company services. For cancellations 90-60 days prior to the trip departure date- 50% cancellation fee; for cancellations 59-46 days prior to the departure date-75% cancellation fee; cancellations at 45 days and less prior to the trip-no refund of monies paid.  No refund on unused portions of the trip. After airline tickets are issued, airline cancellations are per the airline’s policy.

 Travel/Trip Cancellation insurance is highly recommended
