Day 2                Arrive Athens, Greece
Check in to your hotel and depending on your arrival time you can start exploring Europe’s oldest city. Twist and turn through the Plaka’s maze of narrow medieval streets and find ancient sites, cafes, and shops full of history and character. This evening meet your tour representative and your fellow travelers.

Day 3                     Athens to Mykonos
Today, board a typical Greek ferry boat to Mykonos and take advantage of the amazing views across the Aegean and of the rocky islands as you make your way to the beautiful whitewashed vistas of Mykonos. (B,D)

Day 4                     Mykonos
We have over 2 full days to enjoy the island of Mykonos, famous for its blissful beaches and party culture. It draws people from all walks of life, from jet-setters to backpackers.
Visit Mykonos town, see the traditional Cycladic style houses and the famous windmills.  Wander through the maze of tiny streets lined by whitewashed cube-shaped houses. Maybe grab a table in the village and snack on fresh local specialties, like olives, feta and tzatziki dip. (B)

Chill for the evening with friends on the island’s world famous beaches and cool off in the azure waters. Wrap up the day with a drink at one of Mykonos’ hip bars and watch the sun go down. (B)

Day 6                     Mykonos to Turkey
After another day of soaking up the sun, board our cruise ship bound for Turkey and the Dodecanese Islands. Get settled into your cabin, watch the sun set over the Aegean, then join friends in the nightclub! (B,D,S)

In the morning, wake up to the Turkish port town of Kusadasi.  Rummage through the Grand Bazaar and go local bargaining for leather goods, jewelery or local crafts. Or take an optional shore excursion to ancient Ephesus.
Our next port is Patmos, with its sacred spots and wild countryside, this island attracts both pilgrims and holiday makers. Explore the monasteries, traditional settlements and country churches.  Maybe take an optional excursion to Patmos’ UNESCO World Heritage site, the11th century Monastery of the Apocalypse and to the Grotto of St John – the hilltop cave where John the Apostle lived for many years. Next, see the stunningly natural beauty of the island of Santorini.  It’s the result of a massive volcanic eruption and looking up from the water you can see the iconic blue-domed, whitewashed churches. Head up the cliff by donkey on the twisting stone steps, or take it easy in the cable car for views of neighboring volcanic islands.
Learn about Fira which is dramatically perched on the edge of the crater and discover the best places to buy some of Santorini’s famous jewelry and the delicious local specialty, domatoktedes (fried tomato balls).  (B,L,D,S)
